RIP to the Driver of the 95 Aston Martin, Allan Simonsen.
Died today during the first 15 mins of Le Mans 24hr. Crashed into the barrier causing a 30 mins Safety Car period. Died in hospital after leaving the track conscious.
Massa, however, made it clear that he will not play a supporting role to Alonso this year now he does not have a contract with the team.
"I will not race for Alonso from now on," he said. "Right from Friday at Singapore I’ll be working for myself. I will attack all the time, every lap. It’s come the time to look after myself.""
Felipe Massa in Autosport.
Well that’s Alonso’s title challenge this year almost certainly gone then.
And imho, if the guy has any decency about him, the moment the title’s decided this year, he should be helping Felipe, especially in Brazil.

Whose side are you on? :3 I think I’m happy with the outcome!
On the tyres? I don’t think it’s an ideal situation with the degradation rates, but I think people are complaining too much. Specifically though, a lot of people seem to have missed the thing that Paul Hembery said (on the BBC at the very least) about the delaminations being because of the design change so the tyres don’t full-on puncture, and just delaminate instead, so everyone’s freaking out saying they’re just mysteriously falling apart and are dangerous, when actually the change was made to make them less dangerous!
On Jaime though, there were lots of people on Twitter being (what I felt) was unwarrantedly mean to him about (what I felt) were just some honest tweets, that actually would apply to a large number of drivers in F1, as well as out of it!
[EDIT: Totally didn’t notice I didn’t actually mention needing to write Jaime Alguersuari rants in my actual post XD]
…and now I have ranted so much in answer to you that I almost don’t need to actually write those rant posts XD
